Get all the details in the interview below. Be sure to check out my first interview with YOG$ and get to know the artist behind the music! Everyday Vacation drops October 1st!

1. How is everything?

Great man. Been mad busy. That music x school grind.

2. Tell us about your latest project Everyday Vacation?

Everyday Vacation is the first free album that I am dropping. It’s incredible honestly. It has something for everyone on there. It’s a product of my experiences over the summer & years of compiled hard work.

3. Where did the title come from?

It really just hit me one day. It first came to me as a name for a clothing brand. It was the beginning of the summer & I was driving home from the gym. The name “Everyday Vacation” came to me & I immediately hit up my homie Timo like “yo, this name is perfect”. The idea behind it though is really a description of my summer. During the summer I quit any wack jobs that I previously had, cut out some people in my life that were only bringing me down, and traveled the country/world making music. Every single day I was doing what I loved. I woke up & made music all day. Sometimes would chill with bitches at night. It was beautiful. Everyday is a Vacation.

4. What city/state was most of the recording done in?

I made most of the beats in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Some of them made on plane rides. Some shit in LA and Brooklyn. I’m rapping on one track & that was recorded in Detroit at the homie Atone’s spot. Other artists on it recorded in LA, Atlanta, Houston, Baltimore, New York, etc.

5. Will there be any featured artists or is it only beats?

It’s a half instrumental, half track album. I want to tell you the artists/producers featured on it but I can’t really leak that yet. I have a plan. I will tell you. Track list dropping on the 24th at 2:48 pm though. There are 2 co-producers on it and 8 feature tracks.

6. How would you describe the sound of this project?

The sound of the instrumentals is for the most part ambient. I wanted to embellish on my genre of Ambience Trap. Something for every mood though. Some hard shit too but definitely something you’re not used to. I’m here to bring something completely new to the game.

7. Any new artists you are working with?

To be announced.

8. Who did the artwork for the mixtape cover?

My homie Timo (@Timo_DeSigns) did the artwork for my cover. He does all my artwork. He’s really the best doing it. He’s got some shit that will definitely make him one of the best in the game one day/when he gets discovered. He also has a track on the album. It’s called “Grow Up”. It’s ill.

9. What kind of records are on it?

Some exclusives, some instrumentals, some previously release tracks I produced. 16 tracks and I love them all. Couldn’t take a track off if I tried. It balances itself out very well.
