What’s going on everyone? It is my pleasure to bring good music here for you to check out daily, and as always your support is greatly appreciated. Here’s something new for you. Today I would like to present to you Hip Hop Hundred’s first official Song of the Week. So let’s get it started…

After finishing the strawberry Whiteowl the other day, I went to the computer in search of a new mixtape. I came across the latest Mack Maine – Freestyle: 102 No Pens, No Pads. I knew the tape had been released but hadn’t gotten around to it yet. By the names of the tracks, I could tell Mack Maine was going to cook up some serious freestyles. My first click was on track nine “Back in the Days” produced by Studio Monkeyz. The chorus starts as a spin-off of the 90’s coming of age anthem “Back in the Day” by South Central artist Ahmad.

Maine drops lines reminiscing on cartoons, food, girls, old school music, and the reality of how life changes. You may already know that Mack Maine is the President of Young Money, and has been riding with Lil Wayne long before Young Money was the powerhouse it is today. This track is the Song of the Week because it is creative, positive, and makes us all recollect of the times we had back in the days…Check out the track below and be sure to download Freestyle:102 No Pens, No Pads. Stay Safe New Orleans!
