1.   Where are you from and what was it like growing up there?

“RBDeeski is coming straight out of the South Side of Chicago while Kilo The Dreamer is from the east side of Chicago . Growing up on the South Side—from the Low-end to the Wild 100s—teaches you “Grid Intelligence,” a high-level situational awareness where being calculated is the only way to survive the city’s pulse. But the East Side is a different beast; it’s a vicious, isolated island cut off by the bridges where the tension is so heavy you can actually feel it in the air.”

2.   What music inspired you growing up?

“The sound of 9:35 In Tha RaQ is a masterclass in musical lineage. Both RBDeeski and Kilo The Dreamer were raised on a potent blend of Chicago’s lyrical grit and the heavy, soulful bounce of Southern hip-hop. They aren’t just rappers; they are true fans of the craft, inspired by every legend who ever picked up a mic to speak for the voiceless. By merging that Southern sonic weight with the raw, calculated storytelling of the South and East sides, they’ve created a new ‘diabolical’ standard. It’s a tribute to the greats who came before them, delivered with the authentic energy of two artists who are now ready to be the inspiration for the next generation in the trenches.”

3.   Outside of music what other influences shaped you?

“Beyond the speakers and the booth, the influences that shaped RBDeeski and Kilo The Dreamer come from the physical reality of the blocks they call home. When you’re from the South and East sides, the city itself is your primary educator.”

4. How would you describe your music?

“The music of RBDeeski and Kilo The Dreamer is a cinematic, high-stakes report from the front lines of the RaQ. It is the diabolical intersection where the South Side’s calculated grid intelligence meets the East Side’s vicious island grit.

By blending Chicago’s raw storytelling with the heavy, atmospheric “bounce” of Southern hip-hop, they’ve created a sound that feels like a sonic perimeter check. It’s more than just music; it’s the official frequency of the 9:35 PM transition—the precise moment when the daytime hustle evaporates and the “night shift” takes over. With sharp, intentional flows and production that carries the weight of the trenches, they aren’t just rapping; they are documenting the heartbeat of a city that never lets its guard down.”

5. Who have you worked with?

“The collective behind RBDeeski and Kilo The Dreamer is a strategic powerhouse that unifies the grit of the South Side and the East Side into a single global force, leveraging a high-caliber network to bridge Chicago’s foundation with national influence. This movement is fueled by a versatile roster featuring the sharp delivery of Knucky Johnson from Atlanta, the distinct DMV energy of JojoCinco, the melodic Detroit soul of Kydashia, and the raw presence of PrettySavage150 representing Virginia and North Carolina.

The foundation is further solidified by a deep lineup of regional talent, including the dual-city versatility of Taffy, the vocal impact of Bunny Liiu, and the authentic Chicago bars of PPBShaq, SaintfromthaRaQ, and CR2 RUNITUP from Out West. Together, this masterclass in collaboration merges 3 corners of the city into a diabolical, unified front that commands respect on every map.”

6.   How would you describe the state of your city?

“For RBDeeski and Kilo The Dreamer, the state of the city is defined by raw intention and untapped unity. They view the RaQ as a place where the ‘Heartbeat’ of the South Side and the ‘Island’ grit of the East Side must finally sync up to reclaim the culture. They see a city that is unapologetically real—one that doesn’t offer handouts, only opportunities for those calculated enough to take them. To them, Chicago is currently in a state of ‘9:35’—a pivotal moment of transition where the old rules are fading, and their unified, diabolical energy is becoming the new standard for the streets.”

7.  Plans for the rest of the year?

“The rest of 2026 is about solidifying the takeover. RBDeeski and Kilo The Dreamer are moving with a high-level situational awareness that extends beyond the RaQ. Their plan is to flood the market with high-def visuals, cross-regional collaborations, and the eventual drop of the full project. They are moving from being the voices of the city’s most intense hour to becoming the faces of a new, unified era in hip-hop. By the time the year ends, ‘9:35’ won’t just be a time on the clock—it will be a recognized movement across the entire map”

8.  Anything you want to add..

“The collaboration between RBDeeski and Kilo The Dreamer is the ultimate proof that the RaQ is evolving. They’ve taken two different survival mentalities and fused them into a single, unstoppable frequency. As they move through the rest of 2026, they aren’t just representing their neighborhoods; they are redefining what it means to be ‘calculated’ in this game. At 9:35 PM, the city belongs to the RedBully Glah Boyz.”
