What’s good everyone? I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving, and had a great week! On Thursday night in D.C., The Turnt & Burnt Tour came through! The setlist included: 100s, OverDoz, A$ton Matthews, Joey Fatts, and the Trap Lord himself A$AP Ferg. A$AP Ant and A$AP Nast were there as well. The show started right at 9, and Bay Area artist 100s performed a chill, laid back first set. OverDoz was on next, and they got the crowd going, with their positive Southern California vibes. The four individuals who make up OverDoz brought a positive light to the show. Next up, was Long Beach’s own A$ton Matthews, and Joey Fatts aka (The Cutthroat Boyz.) These guys are no joke, they spit those real street raps based off real life experiences. They both look they have a good sense of humor, but also seem very dedicated to the money, and to representing who they are. About an hour after the first three acts – the venue went dark and A$AP Ferg hit the stage. Ferg’s energy is always crazy, and gets the crowd going wild as hell. Ferg didn’t waste any time; He dove into crowd, probably within in the first three minutes. Of course, you know it’s not an A$AP show without other members of the A$AP Mob. A$AP Nast hit the stage and performed his record “Trillmatic”.” Later in the set A$AP Ant, from Baltimore, hit the stage and spit his raw and gritty rhymes about street life and women. I enjoyed A$AP Ant and Nast because they bring something raw to the table. Well, the whole A$AP Mob brings a certain rawness or creative vibe that’s their very own. A$AP Ferg really vibes with the crowd, and he seemed really happy to be in town. I suggest you do your research on the A$AP Mob, and the acts who were at the show because they are going keep growing and growing. The show was what I expected – laid back, turnt up, fun, raw, and loud. Check out some of the photos and videos from Turnt & Burnt live at the Howard Theatre below!
