What’s goin on everyone?! Last night, I attended the Shoes For Running Tour at the Howard Theatre in Washington D.C.  It was definitely a live event, full of positive energy. The eagerly awaited tour is headlined by Big Boi, and is named after track 11 off his 2012 album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. Opening acts for the evening did not disappoint; each had their own flair and good vibe. First on stage was Renegade, followed by Real T@lk and then Killer Mike. Their performances each compelled a strong sense of love and passion for music, as well as for people. Killer Mike’s performance was real cool. He brought forth his natural broadminded style and created a sinuous vibe with the audience. Everyone was totally absorbed in his presence. He talked about current events, like the big government shutdown, and gave his thoughts, compelling us all to live life to the fullest. He hopped in the crowd at the end, and left us with a feeling of positive power. After a short break, Big Boi hit the stage. His performance was great, with a whole lot of dancing, moving, and vibing with the crowd. Everyone was having a good time as he performed hit after hit. Big Boi and the Shoes For Running Tour put on one hell of a show! Take a look at some of lasts night’s pictures below. Be sure to check the tour dates for your city, so you can be experience this incredible live show! And as always Stay Positive!
