What’s Up Everyone! This past Sunday, Danny Brown was live at the Howard Theatre in DC. The night started off with good vibes; DJ Kidd Marvel was on the 1’s and 2‘s. The first act was good, although I didn’t catch is name; he got the crowd hyped with some solid raps. Joie 13 came on next. He brought great energy, and kept it going through his whole set. My favorite opener for the night was the third; Phil Ade. With some DMV roots, and he definitely put on for the city. He had a strong presence, and had everyone absorbed in his rhymes. Phil Ade introduced himself to the crowd, and really earned every hand that was up.
Danny Brown hit the stage with a great ease about him. He was ready, and so was the crowd. You could feel a real connection between him and the fans. Danny has a strong, chill, down to earth boldness about him that you can’t help but gravitate towards. He performed some of his notorious records, and put on a great show. Check out some photos, and videos from the show below. Be sure to get the live Danny Brown experience when he comes to your city!
