What’s going on everyone! Today, we interview 30 Miles. 30 Miles is coming to us from the South East side of Los Angeles and has a lot to discuss in the interview! I have included his most recent videos and projects below!

1. Where are you from and what was it like growing up there?
I’m from Lynwood ca, raised in Downey ca, growing up in Downey is like getting the best of both worlds, we was some poor youngsters making the best of what we had, while living among rich privileged kids who had everything they wanted and more , home invasions and fighting on campus getting kickout of highschool , skateboarding wit friends , party krews typical SELA activities.
2. What music inspired you growing up?
Hip hop inspired me , I first heard my older bro fuse playing inspekta decks part on above the clouds and after that I started exploring on my own and found artists like j dilla and 9th wonder , mf doom , dj premier, mixtapes on datpiff , downloaded torrent discography of each artist and then everyone at my school was wondering why I never listen to lil Wayne and mainstream music on the radio.
3. What artists/producers have you always wanted to work with?
I always wanted to work with Redman,Ghostface Killah , Joey bada$$, west side Gunn, 9th wonder , dj premier, Madlib, alchemist,erykauh badu earl sweatshirt, Tyler the creator ,mainly also mf doom and dilla rip.
4. Tell us about your latest project.
My latest project it’s called “ 30 globe” and it’s out on all platforms, it’s adapting to the new wave of music in 2022,2023 something different other than just boombap hiphop, but I’m working as we speak on a new album with my producer skyscraper and it’s gonna be a classic just like “skymiles” also out on all platforms more of a hiphop vibe.
5. What plans do you have for 2023?
My plans for 2023 are working on my album with skyscraper , doing more shows, also learning more about the promotion side of the game I still have slot to learn.
6. How do you feel about the current state of music?
The current state of music is just adapting to what your most creative in, I like to put every type of music I like into my art, make a big collages into one , the hiphop is growing more people are doing it now then making fun of how old it is , embracing what’s around us to make the best sound here in LA.
7. What do you want people to take away from your music?
I want them to gravitate to real lyrics, complementing the boom bap beats by skyscraper also to relate to a real one from Los Angeles trying to show everyone the talent I have and love for Hiphop and music in 2023.
