What’s good everyone! We are back with another interview! This time, we speak with Texas duo DaVinci Code. The duo has been creating heavy and brings a authentic sound to the game. I asked them some questions and included some music below! Stay tuned for more from the duo and enjoy the music!

  1. Where did you guys grow up and what was that like?

We grew up in the streets, we were in Killeen, Texas, others know it as kill city, the k hole, etc.

It’s a place where everyone and they auntie got or had probation. Children carry guns there so we did as young adults just to protect our operations. We made big money at a young age, but people hated us and tried to block the shine.

It was tough, especially being some of the only real n*ggas there.

It’s all fabulous though, we made it out and still got respect for the city.

2. How did you guys form the duo and where did the name come from?

We really always been a dynamic duo just in other things, so when it came to music it was just a given.

DaVinci Code only makes sense because we were the code to prosperity and we knew it from the get go. Not many people will figure us out, but they may catch a vibe.

3. You told me you moved to Los Angeles. How has that been so far and do you have any goals you want to accomplish out here?

Yeah LA is great, there’s a lot of love here. We’re really travelers though. LA will just always be our Hollywood though. Plenty of inspiration for our aspirations and a lot of people here that see a glimpse of the vision and give us opportunities to eat further. It all works out.

The main goal is just to expand our brand with mature creatives that understand what it means to commitment to being valuable.

It’s already being accomplished along with other goals like doing some mix and mastering for some big artists out here.

4. If you guys could work with any artists who would it be?

Working with Blueface,Tyler, the Creator, Valee, Q Da Fool, Big Draco, Black Kray, Shabazz PBG and Young Nudy just to name a few, would be phenomenal!

Our creativity would knock the roof off any building to be real.

5. Tell us about your latest releases and what you have coming for this year?

Our latest release is the 2021 album “ON GOD”. We can’t really compare it to our other albums due to its uniqueness. It’s really steppin on necks because the feel of the album is pretty aggressive and to the point. Anyone who’s looking for something new in hip-hop would appreciate it.

What we have coming will have to remain a surprise for now. . .

6. Are there any producers you want to work with or do you like to keep it in house?

We keep all our production in house currently. It’s just easier for our sound and we enjoy it.

Although we are open to work with other producers if the vibe fits.

7. Tell me about some of your favorite artists and favorite movies…

Not to take any depth out of us but we really are our own favorite artists for the time being and our lives are really the greatest movies of all time haha.

Ju-On is a great movie, we featured it in our music video for Chief.

8. Anything you want the world to know….

I would like the world to know that we’re really in this for the long run. Many names will die out but we’re here only to be legendary.
