What’s up everyone!? Hope all is good with you and yours and as always thanks for showing support for Hip Hop Hundred. Today, I had the pleasure of interviewing hip hop artist Hefna Gwap, coming from East Palo Alto, CA. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Gwap, he has a naturally infectious flow; his lyrics entertain a life of West Coast street culture, mixed with every day relative pains and pleasures of life. We discuss The Smokers Club, his life and hip hop in New York City, the influence of Bay Area hip hop, as well as his upcoming projects and what’s up for the summer. Check out the interview, and some tracks and videos HERE below. Thanks to Hefna Gwap for the interview, and for making that high times music for the blunted!

[…] Next, we have a hidden gem that hasn’t received much shine, but it is still very new, so give it some time. East Palo Alto, CA artist Hefna Gwap, and NYC artist T-Shyne dropped their joint project titled Sloppy Tuna. With 7 tracks on the subjects of weed, drinking, women, art, and having a good time; the two have mastered a sophisticated way of telling a story. I like how Gwap and Shyne talk about life and dreams. Their music is authentic and honest. They have a good chemistry, and are each very creative in their own right. Lord Plawz did his thing with the production! Give a listen Below. Be on the lookout for Elegant Caviar! And don’t forget to check out the Hip Hop Hundred interview with Hefna Gwap! […]
