What’s good everyone! We linked up with artist/producer/engineer – Josh Gray!
Reppin’ for Evanston, Illinois where he began making beats on GarageBand at 16, Josh has brought his talent to L.A., where he’s paving his path on the mic and behind the boards. Josh gives us some insight on his life in the northwest suburb of Chicago, where he was influenced by a household of music lovers, and the sounds of diverse genres. We discuss some of his favorite musicians, and memories of which were the first to introduce him to hip hop. Josh tells us about working with artists in Los Angeles, and how being a producer has helped him to grow. While furthering his passion for creating music alongside artists who share what he describes as an “unspoken energy” – Josh Gray also expresses how much he values his solo-artistry and creating his own lane.
