What’s good everyone!? We are back with a new interview, this time we speak upcoming artist Sanity Menon & producer OB1F000. They are coming to us from Carson & Paramount, California. They have a very creative style and a lot to let the world to know. Their new project In Time We Find will be June 10th. Let’s get to know them better!

1. Where are you from and what is it like growing up there?

Sanity: I was born in India and grew up in Carson, CA. It was different being from another nationality than most of my friends and peers, but it helped me mold myself to be who I am today.

OB1: I was born and raised in the city of Paramount, CA. Growing up, music was a big part of my life. I fell in love with it at the age of seven.

2. What music inspired you growing up?

Sanity: Hip Hop, Carnatic music from my family and instrumental music from my favorite producers like Nujabes and 9th Wonder.

OB1: I’m into all kinds of music really. Hip Hop, R&B, Rock, Indie, etc. The beats and sounds are what inspire me.

3. If you could work with anyone who would it be?

Sanity: Zach de la Rocha of Range Against The Machine.

OB1: MixedByAli to pick his brain and just see how he works on music.

4. Tell us about your new project ‘In Time We Find’.

Sanity: ‘In Time We Find’ is a project of expression in these crazy times. On my end, I felt at the moment I had a lot to say about what this world was going through and my thoughts on it.

OB1: Sanity and I always make HEAT. This project started as we always do. Making the music. Once we figured out we had a sound, we began to put the concept together. TIME is all we got. ‘In Time We Find’ can be interpreted based on the consumer’s emotions. Everyone’s experience will be different and that’s what makes this music beautiful.

5.How did you guys link up for the project?

Sanity: OB1 and I have known each other for years, we have a really strong connection when it comes to making music, everytime we link it’s just straight to creating. The project felt almost like it had to be done, we had so many songs, we felt like we needed to close the chapter and give the people some new new!

OB1: Sanity and I have been rocking for years. That’s family. We go by “Piece by Piece” when we rock together. So yes, this is our 2nd “Piece by Piece” project and if you heard the first one, (Motion) then you already know we got something special coming.

6. What plans do you have for 2022?

Sanity: This year, the plan is to keep growing mentally and spiritually, I’m just trying to be better and use the music to help this world and the people.

OB1: The plan is to keep pumping out music the rest of the year. I myself plan on dropping some instrumentals I produced throughout the year.

7. Anything else you want the world to know…

Sanity: Thank you to everyone bumpin’ the new music. One love to all my people. Stay strong to everyone trying to push through.

OB1: Much love to everyone who really supports us. To be able to share this music with the world is all we want. Thank you!
