What’s good everyone! We are back with our first interview of 2022! Today, we speak with Southern California artist Sleepy Tee. Sleepy Tee released his new EP Corner Store recently! Sleepy Tee has an original sound and is ready to move forward with music and his clothing brand!

1. Where are you from and what was it like growing up there?
I really bounced around as a youngin, spent time growing up in watts real young , Whittier, Cerritos , LA, Anaheim . Spent my middle school and high school years in chino CA . Growing up was rough , like a lot of us . Didn’t have much so had to find a way really.
2. Growing up what music influenced you?
Music that influenced me growing up . A lot of 50 cent , snoop , mos def , Pharrell , that old Kanye.
3. Tell us about your new project?
About my new project . “Corner store”
Is like essential in our culture and where we from . Pretty much the store niggas go to the most daily . We Start to build a relationship with the owners at every corner store near wherever we living at , at the time based off us going multiple times a day . They got everything you need . Wraps , liquor, snacks , bacon egg and cheese . Fresh t shirts , quick groceries. They golden in my eyes.
4. What was it like recording the project?
Recording the project was great time as always . Once we lock in our studio time wit DG . It’s nothing but vibes and good energy . We get to work but it feel like we just having fun. Straight up.
5. If you could work with any artist/producer who would it be?
Few artist I wanna work with , Meek mill , Fabolous , g herbo , tsu surf to name a few.
6. What goals do you have for 2022?
Goals for 2022 . Focus more on my brand . Sleepytee.com , my music , and fully locked in on myself and re investing my income back into my brand.
7. What was one thing you want people to take away from your music?
Hope it reaches y’all ears the way I intended. I want people to relate to that struggle and life when they listen to my music.
