What’s up everyone?! Hip Hop Hundred is back with a new interview! This time we get to know a little about Inglewood, CA artist – Thurz.
You may already be familiar with Thurz, from his – L.A. Riot – project, and – My Blood on the Canvas – video series. If not, here’s a chance to vibe with someone new! We caught up with him last week to talk about his life, and new music. Thurz recalls what it was like growing up in his hometown of Inglewood, CA ; as well as the cultural variety of sounds that his family would play in the house. He describes his “designer music,” and how it is “tailor cut” from his life experiences; and then fashioned into an everlasting creative product. We discuss his upcoming – Designer EP – it’s meaning, and the project’s producer. After talking with him, I found that Thurz is a real, gifted, and down to earth person. His music has the ability to translate feelings and ideas (with great energy) into these intricate vibrations; one’s that you can absorb so naturally, that it just feels right.
