1. What was it like growing up in Baltimore?

It’s rough growing up in Baltimore. Many people living in the inner city growing up in the hood, or around all the violence I have seen, would agree. I’m not on the outside looking in or in the inside looking out — I’m in the center of it all and looking around, if you know what I mean.

2. Baltimore is growing in the right direction with its music. I think that’s a very good look for the city. Any thoughts?

Yea I agree Baltimore is growing in the right direction when it comes to music. It’s not the same ol “trap beat” shit that everyone was doing a few years back before I started rapping, but instead has evolved to many different artists with different styles, which is always great.

3. How did you get into rapping?

As a kid I always watched MTV and BET and told myself like “I want to be a rapper”. My dad eventually let me hear artist such as Biggie, Pac, Jay Z, Big Pun, De La Soul, Mobb Deep, Wu Tang, Snoop, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Outkast, and many others. After that I eventually started to look at other guys like MF Doom and really wanted to start making my own music, and then I did.

4. A lot of your production has a soulful vibe and old school type of feel to it…Where does that come from? Is it hard to find good producers, or ones who understand what you are trying to accomplish?

Haha, well I guess that comes from the guys my dad introduced me to. Also I believe I’m an old soul, so it comes out naturally. I don’t necessarily aim to do it, but it’s just those soulful or old school “Boom Bap” beats that really give me a peaceful vibe and inspiration.

5. Favorite movie?

Paid-N-Full

6. Favorite food?

Chicken and Shrimp Fettuccine

7. What would you get at Royal Farms with only 6 dollars?

2 glazed donuts, a Kiwi Brisk, some Skittles, A 3 Pack and a lighter for my homies lol, and pocket the rest.

8. Any last words…..
