“Nicki Minaj heads into the release of her third studio Album, The Pinkprint, tomorrow (Dec. 15th). She called into DJ Whoo Kid’s The Whoolywood Shuffle speaking on an array of subjects. Many may know that there has been media speculation between Lil Wayne and Birdman (or Baby as Nicki calls him). Affirming the listeners that YMCMB is currently in good standing, Nicki states that love conquers all and they’re all a family. Nicki believes that everyone is aiming at the Label, this is due to her stating when you’re at the top, there’s only one place to aim at.
Clearing all the rumors, Nicki delves into the approach she had taken into The Pinkprint. Jay Z’s The Blueprint had inspired the Album title for Nicki, as she grew up in New York City and looked up to Jay growing up. When she was in Paris she ran into Jay and Beyonce, and found out Jay was a huge fan of “Chiraq” and “Looking A## N###a”. Finding that out had geeked her out incredibly.“
