What’s going on everyone! Hope all is well! This month, we spoke with upcoming Seattle artist SoraCD. SoraCD is a very unique, creative and upcoming artist! He recently dropped his new album The One Who Changed Everything. This album has many styles of music and honestly is very smooth! Sora is on to something with this! I have included it below and give a track by track review!
- “Kurt” – The track starts off with some upbeat soulful production. SoraCD gets real lyrical on this one and discusses many emotions and some issues in the world. This song is a great introduction to the album!
- “SHOULD KNOW/VISA V” – This track has a nice R&B vibe, mixed with some smooth raps. SoraCD really goes in on this one. He raps about knowing his worth and really shows off his talent. He speaks on some unfortunate events, but switches it back to positive vibes! Half way through, the beat switches up and Sora raps with no flaws! This is a really smooth song!
- “GHOST” – The song starts off with a smooth piano and nice claps. Sora reflects on life and raps about how his vision is deeper, than most imagine. The beat and the way Sora flows is perfect. Sora lets the world he will put on for his city, no matter what battles comes his way!
- “NOTICED INTERLUDE” – We are half way through the album with this one. Sora switches up the flow on this one! There is more reflection, but this is different. Sora focuses on staying focused and how some people in your life will fade out. The production takes us away reminiscing.
- “ROT” – “ROT” has a very alternative Hip Hop/R&B vibe to it. Sora lets the listener know, he is always watching and that no one can stop his vision. This is a very well put together song. Nice guitar!
- “CARE” – Sora starts off this track with getting straight to the point! Sora touches on prices raising and bills coming out of everywhere! Sora lets the listeners know better days are coming and he will not stop going after his dream. This track also has a alternative vibe to it. Very smooth ending of the song!
- “GRANTED” – “GRANTED” has a rock vibe to it. Sora really does something with this one! The flow is smooth and the topic is how Sora “Will not let life short change me.” This is an amazing track, it has a 90s’ vibe to it! This is the type music I would see on VH1 as a kid! Very beautiful track!
- “AFTERALL” – This is a great track to the end the album! This also has a 90’s vibe to me. The track inspires you “to be free and be all you can be.” This is my favorite one from the album. Sora wants the world to always keep trying and keep following your dream no matter! Like I said, this is a great way to end the album. Durning the middle of the track, Sora has a nice flow and most importantly it’s uplifting!
