A really good music site drops a really good music tape!
“For the third time, BOBO’s Immanuel Smith is responsible for laying the foundation to create the 16-track project, which includes producers to the likes of Slakah the Beatchild and Hud Mo and features from up-and-coming artists like Perrion and MoneyMakinNique.
Opening with WWE wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Best of Both Offices Compilation Vol. 3 establishes itself as not only the ‘king of the ring,’ but also introduces a strain of braggadocio found throughout the album. Unlike the BOBO compilations before it, The Best of Both Offices Compilation Vol. 3 dives into trap rap, evident with the already-released lead singles “9 Times Out of 10” from Que and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Fucking Tonight,” as well as singles from the likes of Clyde Carson and Easy Lantana. On the other side of the spectrum, The Best of Both Offices Compilation Vol. 3 illuminates the R&B vocals of Presto, who offers the soulful “Moon Song,” J.AB who plays into the smooth R&B side of trap music, and Maiday, featured on Leaf Walker’s “Fade.”
Offering a cohesive project that sheds light on up and coming talent and tastemakers in rap music, The Best of Both Offices Compilation Vol. 3 proves that it may very well be the ‘King of the Ring’ when it comes to compilation albums.
“Thank you, that’s all I can really say. Thank you for the love and support you guys have shown this tape singles and the previous tapes as well. It means a lot to me. I just want to keep making this compilation series better and improving them. Thank you again and enjoy the tape. If you don’t like it, I’m sorry in advance.” – Immanuel Smith
