“Back in 2010, a then 20-year old Apollo Ali (then known as Apollo The Great) released his “Reincarnated” video. The video caught the eyes of 9th Wonder after he saw the Apollo Ali & Sean Price “Struggle No More” video. 9th Direct Messaged Apollo on Twitter to give him props on the record/video. That 9th took time from his busy day obviously meant a lot to a young Apollo; just to know that the artists he looks up to were watching and paying attention.
Fast forward, a few weeks ago 9th Wonder dropped a very dope instrumental project, Zion, and Apollo decided to put his thoughts down over a few select instrumentals from that project for his Verses project.”
