Fih the Jyp is a new up and coming female rapper currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. Originally she is a Los Angeles native from the Crenshaw area, but moved to the east coast to get an education and pursue her passion. Since child Fih had always been in love with music especially Hip Hop and she knew it would be a big part of her life when she grew up. Some of her greatest musical influences are Nas, Outkast, A Tribe Called Quest, and J.Cole. Jesus Pieces is her first single and video that she has released.

The whole song was written solely by Fih and the beat was produced by, Say La Nos. The song’s meaning touches on a lot of topics but its overall theme is how we get caught up with living a life revolved around things with no purpose. Jesus Pieces has a little bit of an old school feel while implementing the chill vibes of the West Coast. You can hear in her flow how old school Hip Hop/Rap have influenced her style. Fih the Jyp wants to bring back that feeling that the old school used to give her while incorporating her own modern twist to it.
