1. Where did you grow up and what was it like growing up there?

I grew up in Sacramento Ca, i lived all over Sac i moved alot as a kid.

2. Growing up what music inspired you?

I would say all music inspired me, rap was always around me & everyone else listened too it. I think a really crucial time was when i was about 10 years old, i heard the song “Down” by Blink 182 & i got hooked on Alternative rock or Punk Rock & i would say that really opened up my mind to other genres of music.

3. What made you get into making music?

I started making music when i was 16, i started rapping with my best friend Stizzy Staxx. He died in 2019. He was better than me.. I stopped making music in 2017 & i started back up again around his death.

4. How did you decide on what name you wanted to use for music?

I started with the name “JOEtheSHOW” back in highschool everyone just called me that & it stuck to me. When i was 21 i changed it to Showtime Ramon because my friends called me “show” it was also inspired by the WWE legend Razor Ramon. I also thought it sounded dope.

5. Tell us about your latest releases…

My latest releases were all pretty much either punch line heavy rap records or shit i was just swaggin out on. I dropped Julius Erving, Chuck Norris & Liquid Raps which were Bar Heavy. I also dropped 2 songs with Young L of The Pack “Stone Cold Stunner” & “Giannis” which are both bangers, Giannis got like 70k plays on soundcloud i dropped it the night The Bucks won the Nba Finals. I also dropped “Rob Van Dam” with Lil B The Basedgod which was Epic. The sleeper i dropped was an alternative track “Get You Out My Head” produced by Arvsna, im dropping more of that vibe this month & the rest of the year.

6. What current mainstream artist do you want to work with?

Wiz Khalifa, hes one of the Goats in my book. I love his music & his versatility, he sounds good on everything & thats how i view myself. I also know i can learn alot from him.

7. What do you want the world to take from the music you make?

To be yourself. Stay true to yourself. Follow your passions & turn your dreams into goals. Be original & dont be afraid to do things differently. But that goes for everything, once i stopped caring about what other people thought my whole life changed.

8. Any last thing you want the world to know…

October 15, 2021 i am dropping a 5 track EP called “Diamond Flair”. I also have an album dropping October 29th called “Girl From The Hills” which is my best piece of work in my opinion. Check those out they will be on all platforms, thank you.
