Oakland/Sri Lankan artist Ras Ceylon & Timbo King release Scrollz of Lion Rock. The album has 14 tracks with features from Ras Kasss, Ka’Ra Kersey, Solomon Childs, Planet Asia, Cappadonna, Tuff Like Iron, 9th Prince, Prodigal Sunn and Young Shanty. This is Ras’s ninth studio and is full of bars, positive energy, positive messages and top of the line production.
The production is handled by Dawit Justice, Cruise and HBK‘s & AkaFrank. The music has true Hip Hop written all over it! Out of the 14 tracks, my favorites are “Word Is Bond” featuring Cappadonna, “Uprising”, “Land Grab” & “Blessingz” featuring Prodigal Sunn.
This whole album makes me feel really positive because of everything going on in America. Hip Hop started and still is a strong voice and it will never let down from that no matter what! All involved in this project should be proud.
